چکیده
Deuteron production in high-energy collisions is sensitive to the space–time evolution of collision system, and typically described by a coalescence mechanism. For first time, we present results on jet-associated deuteron pp at s=13 TeV, providing an opportunity test established picture for events with hard scattering. Using trigger particle high transverse-momentum (pT>5 GeV/c) as proxy presence jet midrapidity, observe measurable population deuterons being produced around proxy. The associated yield measured narrow angular range differs 2.4–4.8 standard deviations from uncorrelated background. data are PYTHIA model calculations featuring baryon coalescence.

Jet Production in Polarized pp Collisions at RHIC
One of the primary goals of the RHIC spin program is to determine the gluon polarization distribution within the proton. At leading order, pp collisions at RHIC involve a mixture of quark-quark (qq), quark-gluon (qg), and gluon-gluon (gg) scattering processes, with qg and gg contributions dominating. This makes RHIC an ideal place to study gluon polarization. For the past several years, the STA...
متن کاملMeasurement of associated W + charm production in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV
Measurements are presented of the associated production of a W boson and a charmquark jet (W + c) in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The analysis is conducted with a data sample corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 5 fb−1, collected by the CMS detector at the LHC. W boson candidates are identified by their decay into a charged lepton (muon or electron) and a neut...
